I have been sooo friggin' busy lately. Both my kids are tracked out, but due to some issues one is having at school and the homeschooled one getting a bit behind, we've been dong school work. That hasn't gone over well with either kid. Oh well. Life sucks sometimes.
We've had tons of appointments; dentist, speech, soccer, chiropractor, etc. It never seems to end.
I've been writing this tutorial for the company I get the rings to make my chain maille from...I've been working on and off on this thing for literally months. I finally got the bra made correctly...it was really hard. Then this past week, I was writing the tutorial. So far it's 10 pages long and that doesn't even include comparison photos and photos of the finished product on a model.
Which brings me to today. My jewelry had a photo shoot today! On real models! It was kind of thrilling, to be quite honest. Originally I was going to work with one photographer (his work is beautiful...I follow him on Facebook) and one or two models. And that's how it started out. Then a couple other photogs asked me if their models could wear some of my stuff. Of course I said yes. So I will have professional shots of a good number of pieces of my jewelry and a couple bras! I can't wait to see the photos!!!
I was asked by one of the photogs to come to a shoot he's doing this Sunday. I hope I can get hubs to watch the kids so I can do it. I want to make a couple more pieces for this weekend, assuming I can go, of course.
I will post a few of the photos here when I receive them from the photographers.
